The Manitoba Advising Professionals (MAP) began as an association of academic advisors in post-secondary institutions across the province. Our mandate is to provide a forum for advisors to share information and ideas with colleagues, and to provide opportunities for professional development through conferences and workshops.
Our membership has expanded to include other professionals, for whom academic advising may not be a primary job responsibility, but for whom student service issues are of professional interest.
MAP’s membership includes student service professionals from Assiniboine College, Booth College, Brandon University, Canadian Mennonite University, Université de Saint-Boniface, Herzing College, Red River College Polytechnic, University College of the North, University of Regina, University of Manitoba, The University of Winnipeg, and Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.
Manitoba Advising Professionals are pleased to present the 27th Annual Conference. This year the agenda will again include a variety of interesting, informative, and relevant sessions for advisors and other post-secondary personnel in a variety of settings.
